The Early Reader’s Bible – The Easy Bible For Kids To Read On Their Own

Ok so this is a personal blog for me as I illustrated the first edition of this Bible over 20 years ago.

For those families that want to have their kids reading the Bible at a young age, you won’t want to miss The Early Reader’s Bible. Written by V. Gilbert Beers your child will feel great as he/she reads the Bible for themselves.

The Early Reader’s Bible is composed of 64 easy-to-read Bible stories. The illustrations are colorful and it uses common words from the basic 250 words used in public schools. It also introduces new words but no more than five a story.

Gilbert Beers understands children. He has a created a text that builds upon skills to encourage kids in their reading. There is also a series of questions at the end of each of the stories that encourage family discussions.

This book makes a great gift for any family with a beginner reader. Why not check out the Early Reader’s Bible today. Get more than one copy and use them as an evangelistic tool.

For me it was such a blessing to illustrate the first edition and to have my nephew’s wife notice that her first Bible (The Early Reader’s Bible) linked her to her future husband long before she met him. Isn’t it amazing how God works.

If you like what you read, check out our children’s book, Hooked on the Book, on this website.  It is great for parents because it provides the Big Story of God’s miraculous plan for His children in all 66 books in the Bible including colorful illustrations, rhymes and a surprise on every page.
