The Jesus Bubble

The Jesus Bubble

Too often we forget how we are completely saved and free from the law.  It is easy to try to earn grace through reading the Bible and prayer.  But this is the most important thing we can possibly remember because we are loved and free always!

“For if, by trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in live through the one man, Jesus Christ”.  Romans 5:17

I like to think of this freedom in terms of a bubble.  Jesus died and took on all our sins and imperfections, and therefore through  him we are given our righteousness.  It is like we are inside a bubble, which is Jesus.  When God looks at us He is really seeing the Jesus bubble and because of this we are seen as perfect.  It is like a special lense that Christians are provided so that we will always freed from sin in the sight of God.  No matter if we make mistakes because we are within the bubble we are still seen the same.

This of course does not mean that we live however we want.  Because we have been given this freedom and love we in turn want to honor God with how we live our lives.

Try explaining the concept of the Jesus bubble to your kids.  The freedom of grace is so important and to learn it at a young age can change everything!
