Looking for a great family movie! Check out The Making of The King James Bible. We loved it. Many people treasure the King James Bible but how many of you know the story behind the translation.
This movie is very accurate in its history was well as a great way to get your family excited about the rich language that has make the King James Bible such a legacy in Bible translations.
The scenery is spectacular with England’s palaces, cathedrals, people and country-side. The costumes are beautiful and there are many scenes with readings of the Bible.
The setting is the Hampton Court Palace. King James the 1st of England is trying to address all of the factions in the religious community. He thus ordered a more original translation to be made of the Bible.
Make sure your family understands that this is a movie and not 100% accurate and you have a great basis for much discussion on how God works. We love having good discussions with our family and we think this movie will do just that.
