Bible Verses For Family Time

Bible Verses For Families

Summer means lots of family time together at home, and on trips. All of our kids are home from college and we are today planning out the rest of the summer. The calendar is up and the Post Its are out with different adventures and crafts on each one.

Our eldest daughter is organizing the process. But here is the thing… despite all of these great fun plans, we all need to be sure we have time with God as our attitudes are crucial to make these events a special memory.

We found some great Bible verses for families, to keep us focused on honoring God. Check out …

Ephesians 4:32 (RSV)

and be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

Colossians 3:13 (RSV)

forbearing one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive

Romans 12:9 (RSV)

Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good;

Matthew 6:21 (RSV)

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
