What the Bible says about kids money for ages 6-10 Part 2

Money Choices

The way that people can be good stewards of their money is to  compare prices to get good deals therefore to save. This happens to be our lesson for the day, to teach children to compare prices before you buy something.

1 Corinthians 4:2  Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found trustworthy.

For some activities to help with teaching about comparing money are:

1) Have you child pick one toy item that they are interested in and then have them check online and at second hand stores to find the item that they want to get the best price.

2) Next time you go to the grocery store take along your coupons and show them how much money you saved.

3) Discuss with your spouse if you want to let your child be in charge of clipping coupons and then possibly let them keep some of the savings as motivation.

God calls us the be good stewards and this is just one of the many ways that we can be a good steward of the gift of money that God blesses us with.
